We meet at 8pm every Thursday evening at the Bishopthorpe Sports & Social Club and new members are always welcome.

Training & Licensing
We have training programs for all levels of ability and experience. We offer tuition and training towards obtaining Foundation, Intermediate and Full amateur radio licenses.

We have our own on site radio shack with capability for high frequency and for 2m/70cm amateur radio communications
Established For 30 Years
We have a diverse mix of people with differing levels of ability and experience in amateur radio, all are welcome at York Radio Club and as we have now been established for around 30 years we feel we really have something offer the radio enthusiast community.
Current Band Conditions
York Radio Club Repeater Group
The York Radio Club Repeater Group is responsible for operating GB3HG. The repeater group has it's own website, where the status of the repeater is displayed and more information is available.
